A different world, through music
We build partnerships to amplify the power of music and performing arts.
Signatur in the UK
Together with our partners, we advance the uniting power of music
The Signatur Programme partners with charities and cultural organisations in the UK to expand access to music and the performing arts. Through long-term partnerships and project funding, we support work that unlocks the transformative power of music and creative expression to change lives, strengthen communities and contribute to a more vibrant society.
Music inside and beyond the classroom
We resource organisations that reimagine music education and creative learning in schools and cultural and community spaces. Our partners enable children and young people to engage with music and the arts, discover new skills and ways of learning, and develop their creativity and expression.
Growing musicians and artistic journeys
We provide grants to nurture young musicians and performers at every stage of their creative journey, from early exploration to professional development. Our partners create pathways for young people to grow into confident, skilled artists, while championing diversity and social commitment.
Music in all aspects of life
We support work that explores the many ways music intersects with people’s lives. From mental health and wellbeing to inclusion and community development, our partners create experiences that expand opportunities, encourage self-expression and connect music to the realities people live every day.

Our impact
Through our partnerships, tens of thousands of people across the UK have expanded their creativity, musical expression and connection
Our approach to impact goes beyond numbers: we centre the lasting transformations our partners value and celebrate.
Building partnerships that grow over time
Our support, largely through multi-year partnerships, has enabled diverse organisations to deepen, evolve and reach further with their work. Since 2017, more than 50 partner programmes have grown in scale and delivered lasting outcomes that short-term funding wouldn’t have achieved.
Deepening engagement through creative learning
From innovative arts-based learning approaches to hands-on delivery, our partners’ work in schools and community settings has enabled thousands of children and young people to engage with learning in creative and meaningful ways.
Using music as a tool for wellbeing
We have funded over 14 initiatives that use music to support mental health and wellbeing. These have benefited hundreds of people by building confidence, connecting with others and finding new ways to self-expression.
Strengthening the music sector
Our partners have strengthened the UK music sector by developing the next generation of musicians and artists and by advocating to tackle key challenges, including underfunding of grassroots organisations and the decline in music teachers.
